Located in North Yorkshire the design of this bespoke dwelling has been considered as a replacement to an existing dilapidated property. That which remained of the stone walls and floor slab will be repurposed to form a contemporary family home.

The footings and stonework of the outbuildings shall also be repurposed to create a group of volumes which sit around a landscaped courtyard garden. The lower level contains the primary living areas and the master suite; a library, studio and guest quarters are located at the upper level.

The house is to be developed to a high level of specification utilising a simple palette of materials, the brief includes custom furnishings which are to be integrated into the fabric of the building.
